In smart home concept, many operators provide different services, and users download bundles, access services by home gateway. However, the management of bundles and security of services haven’t been respected, so that we still can’t import services which require high-security protection. The prior art is executing OSGi(Open Service Gateway initiative) in home gateway, and download bundle, access services by transmitting plaintext over http. For improving the management of bundles and security of services, this thesis proposes a bundle management system, which manages bundles provided by operators centrally, and constructs the service that downloads bundle by permission according to PKI(Public Key Infrastructure) and digital certificate. On the other hand, this thesis also proposes that operators, bundle management system, and users communicate with web service security. In this way, Integrity, Authenticity, Non-repudiation, Confidentiality will be satisfied. In industry, according to this thesis’ result, we can construct a secure bundle management system and smart home environment, make operators can import home security, medical care , and E-commerce, and open up more new business models. In academic, this thesis discusses web service, and WS-Security, and applies them in bundle management system, so that we can strengthen the relevant security technologies and mechanisms.
