The suitable drain valve activating pattern was obtained through design requirements, design constraints and calculated pressure change. CAD software was used to construct computer model and to ensure interference-free situation and secure sealing of sealing elements. CAE software was employed for stress analysis to avoid the risk of high-pressure explosion. A prototype was built and tested.
