Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 電腦與通訊研究所 === 99 === In order to meet the demand for bandwidth increase and miniaturization of connectors on communication systems, the high speed connectors and cables are no longer play as a signal transmitted channel only nowadays. The signal quality affected by the high frequency is the most topic we care about now. It is because that the high frequency effects are the major factors in determining the product''s competitiveness. In the research of this thesis, we go firstly the introduction of the characteristics and parameters on high speed connectors and cables, and give the ideas about how they result in product''s performance. Secondly, we discuss the measuring methodology of signal integrity of VNA and TDR considering the effects on any measuring errors. Finally, We take the popular audio and video interface HDMI connector and HDMI cable assembly as the example to show the signal integrity. And finally we propose the better ideas for product design according to all these test data.
