Architecture design is quasi-experimental way, taking the Taipei city sixth grade students as the research object. Each of the experimental and the control group has two classes (a total of 94 students):The experimental group goes to the “Fire Safety Museum of Taipei City" and the control group goes to the “Fire Safety Museum of Keelung City “to take informal disaster- prevention education Quantitative data were collected by using the “sixth grade students’ disaster-prevention literacy survey" and "sixth grade students’ visiting the Fire Safety Museum satisfaction survey", and to be analyzed by Independent sample t, paired t, Parson Pearson correlation and descriptive data statistically. Using the "semi-structured interviews Questionnaire" as the qualitative data collection tool of the qualitative research. The following conclusions were drawn: 1. "Overall disaster-prevention literacy" and its sub-item "disaster-prevention knowledge", "disaster-prevention skills" and "disaster-prevention attitude” will not differ because of gender; girls were evidently more satisfied than boys in "Display content" and "narrators" ; but showed no difference in the "exhibition space". 2. The two groups’ average score of the post-test in the "cognitive skills" achieved significant progress. The experimental group’s average score of the post-test in the "disaster-prevention attitude" achieved significant progress, and the control group didn’t. 3. The experimental group gave a high rating to the "clean and comfortable environment" and "lively and interesting way of display "; but low rating to the "narrators". The control group gave a higher rating to the “clean and comfortable environment", but lower rating to the “smooth and wide route " and “clear way of explanation”. 4. Satisfaction to the museum had a significant positive correlation to "disaster-prevention attitude " but no significant correlation to "disaster- prevention knowledge " and "disaster –prevention skills " Hsu Ming Yang 許民陽 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 143 zh-TW
