Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南藝術大學 === 應用藝術研究所 === 99 === Abstract The series of “Reverse?!” originated from the humane products, the ordinary images of which were replaced and reconstructed to subvert the stereotype people held on the merchandise. It seemed a little bit helpless and disordered after getting off the nature, but these objects still have their new abilities and states. “Moving city or not” and “Storing the ordinary” intended to let the viewers ask questions even with surprised attitude. The punctuation marks in “Reverse?!” were not correct or formal, representing the inconceivable or stunned responses in the subculture. “Moving city or not” divided the city into two parts. One half displayed the things which ought to move lost their motive power, but the things which ought not to move all moved on instead. The other half ran as usual. It was created by combining the properties of computer embroidery and the fabric with chemical fibers. In “Storing the ordinary”, the ordinary things in our life were re-described with the soft wool felt fabric in order to make the stiff objects be stored weakly and limply. Converting the nature of the objects and their ordinary positions, all the ordinary things seemed a little abnormal. “Revserse?!” aroused people’s attention and reversed the stereotyped images, which were interlaced in the restructureds vision and broke up the new conversation in the reversed world.
