The most important process in manufacturing test is the MMI (Man Machine Interface) testing. In this process, you have to test manually. So it will be the bottleneck of shipping speed. The production cost is inversely proportional to the shipping speed. And the fastest shipping speed brings the larger market. This paper proposed a modular and half-automation man machine interface testing system focus on Android based MID. The system includes two kinds of test classes. The first is the automation test class, it can test a part of sensor devices (ex. Temperature …), the communication devices (ex. WiFi, BT and GSM …) and storages devices (ex. SD Card, SSD and Rom …). The second is the half-automation test class, it can test a part of sensor devices (ex. G-Sensor and E-Compass ), user interface devices (ex. Keypad, Touch screen, and Vibrator ) and multi-media devices (ex. Audio I/O, Ext-Audio I/O and Camera ). The experiment result shows the MMMI testing faster than class manual testing in each test items and the MMMI testing increase the total testing time form 203 seconds to 133 second. It effective promoted the testing speed up 34.5%.
