Description
Summary:碩士 === 大同大學 === 資訊工程學系(所) === 99 === According to DisplaySearch industry research and analysis report, lcd displays produced in 2011 will exceed 170 million units. LVDS (Low-voltage differential signaling) signals of LCD Displays may be corrupted due to the F/W (Firmware) Flow design problems, compiler issues, or the incompatible core chips and circuit boards. Therefore, how to minimize the effort and cost to design and test new display control boards has become a critical task for the R&D engineers of display manufaturers. The thesis proposes a new solution to test whether LVDS signals of LCD display boards confirm to the corresponding panel specifications. The advantages of our testing system are as follows: 1. It can measure LVDS signals on the fly. 2. It can measure LVDS signals precisely. 3. Without the aid of oscilloscopes, it can measure large amounts of LCD displays simultaneously. 4. It can measure LVDS signals in real time and determine whether these signals confirms panel specifications.
