Summary:碩士 === 台南應用科技大學 === 生活應用科學研究所 === 99 === Abstract This study aims to discuss and analyze the participation motivation, social support and organizational commitment with respect to volunteers of Teacher Chang Foundation. Main purposes are generalized as follows: 1、To find out the purity of different-background volunteers'' motivation forparticipating in Teacher Chang Foundation. 2、Findings of this study help understand problems relative withthese volunteer teachers'' social support, and thus to strengthen Teacher Chang Foundation''s support for volunteers. 3、To know these volunteers'' loyalty to organizational commitment. 4、The results of this study provide reference for Teacher Chang Foundation to recruit, train and manage volunteers as well as improve these volunteers'' commitment to the organization and their sustainable service. This study designs questionnaire according to Likert scale and sends questionnaires to 369 volunteer teachers of Teacher Chang Foundation. Data are collected through investigating three items: participation motivation, social support and organizational commitment. Then, with respect to these collected data, this study makes statistical analysis, judgment and description. This study obtains the following results: 1、Although having different backgrounds, volunteers of Teacher Chang share same positive participation motivation (in the spirit of great love). 2、These volunteers win supports from family, friends and the society, and these supports are significantly correlative (friends are better than the family). 3、Concerning organizational commitment, volunteers of Teacher Chang are quite different in "willing to be volunteer teacher for life" and "wishing to leave the post". This difference means that volunteers of Teacher Chang are highly loyal to organizational commitment. 4、The questionnaire findings of this study can provide reference for Teacher Chang Foundation to recruit, train and manage volunteers as well as improve these volunteers'' commitment to the organization and their sustainable service.
