Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 資訊管理系碩士班 === 99 === As the information age comes with the increasing volume of data, the main goal of Information Retrieval (IR) always is how to find the knowledge and the semantic meaning of any kind of information. From the aspect of researcher and teacher, the famous or international journals are the major reference materials. We can avoid making the duplication of other research and enhance our quality of research by observing the previously researches. The most of previously researches of hot topic used the artificial statistic but it consumed too much time and affected by the consciousness of participants. The minorities of these kinds of researches use the automatic method, but they always focus on the automatic categorization. This study uses the LDA to extract the semantic of topic in the Journal of Software-Engineering and sorts the key issues. We also compare the result to the course of the famous Software-Engineering College that allows readers could understand the present situation of it. Furthermore, researcher could refer the issues of the trend before they start their study. This research result shows that LDA performed semantic of hot topics well and it is more effective and economical than traditional survey ways. This paper is not only a contribution to journal knowledge management but also provides a new ways to find key issues.
