Summary:碩士 === 雲林科技大學 === 休閒運動研究所碩士班 === 99 === The purpose of this research is to find out the effects of participation motivations and participation satisfactions on continuing service willingness among the Volunteer Firemen in Yunlin County. The Volunteer Firemen in Yunlin County were enrolled in this study. 270 questionnaires were sent out and the returns-ratio was 97%, the effectiveness was 94% . This study was based on " participation motivation scale", " participation satisfaction scale" and " continuing service willingness scale" as a research tool, used multiple regression analysis to analyze the results: 1. The volunteer firemen consider that social contact, social responsibility, self-development and personal benefit were the four factors in their participation motivations. Social contact, self-growth and the organizational climate benefit were the three factors in their participation satisfaction. The continuing service willingness included participation willingness and intention to stay. 2. The participation motivation of the volunteer firemen could predict the participation satisfaction and the self-development explanation strength was the highest. 3. The participation motivation of the volunteer firemen could predict continuing service willingness and the self-development explanation strength was the highest. 4. The participation satisfaction of the volunteer firemen could predict continuing service willingness and the he organizational climate benefit explanation strength was the highest. 5. The participation motivation and The participation satisfaction of the volunteer firemen could predict continuing service willingness and the he organizational climate benefit explanation strength was the highest. According to the study, we found that the participation motivation and the participation satisfaction could be used to predict the leisure benefits eefectively. Therefore we suggest the fire organization should encourage people to participate in voluntary service by advertisement, and enhance the organization climate and social actitives would be able to promote the intension to stay.
