In addition, the researcher would like to observe the relationship among the reading comprehension, reading motivation and reading attitude. The participants of this study were 53 first graders (19 boys and 34 girls) from a private vocational high school in central Taiwan. The researchers evaluated participants’ performance by using the Pearson correlation to investigate the relationship among reading comprehension, reading motivation and reading attitude after she made students read five TOEIC articles for 12 weeks. Although the result of students’ reading attitude did not show any difference after finishing training, the relationship between their reading motivation and reading comprehension was significance, including intrinsic motivation , social motivation and overall reading motivation. Finally, students with high reading motivation had higher reading comprehension grades than those with low reading motivation did.
