碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 建築與室內設計系碩士班 === 99 === The Generation and population in Taiwan changes in time produce the amount of institutional demand, but in recent years, Based on the statistics of the Ministry of the Interior Department shows that the actual occupancy rate is about 60 to 80% till December, 1997. Overall, the situation shows an oversupply condition, therefore,the institutional environment data has been raised from the number of pursuing supply and demand to the improvement of the quality of life. As for the upgrade to the qualitative level, our government legislates the minimum request for standard and building regulation for the various types of elderly care facilities, but these regulation are not legislated to fulfill the demand of residents and caregivers of reasonable institutions living space. In this study, We take the PEAP version 3 of Japanese experience into operating in Taiwan to improve the institutional environment, this study attempts to use PEAP Japan version 3 to create the environment and methods of operation, the highest degree of aging in Taiwan, Yunlin and Chiayi, and the implementation of ancillary facilities in the hospital nursing home. The followings are the main purpose of this study: 1.To understand the applicability of PEAP for Taiwan''sinstitutions by using PEAP Japan 3 methods to improve the operating environment during operating record. 2. To organize workshops with two way action in the case of institutions, to record the process and methods related to environmental improvement and provide organizations can learn from this experienceback to operate on their own institutional settings. 3. The problem of proceeding environmental construction of the Taiwan care sector. The results show that Taiwan’s institutions of human care staff work overloaded and lack of foreign care workers, so that we can not break through the direction of thought and care generally. Hence, when it comes to operating the items,we couldn’t understand the meaning of the item. Moreover, We could get the same results from evaluation cards of the two assessment agency shows that providing support for the environment or the inadequacy of the phenomenon is also the main reason for the inconvenience care, however, building good environment for working to improve it, requireing a large payment fee. If the designer will be able to take this approach before environmental construction and from the user’s point of view from the field of vision to understand and design environment, it could improve the use and comfort. In the end, environmental building could upgrade the user’s identity for the environment, and can easily build the environmental.
