Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 資訊工程學系 === 99 === The relevant regulations safety-class Instrument & Control (I&C) systems are getting more and more important. Such systems need to obtain an operation license by passing the regulatory review., However, the complexity of safety-class I&C regulations leads to a huge cognitive gap between the regulator and the vendor. Thus, how to eliminate the knowledge gap between these two parties is a major motivation of this study. In order to minimize the cognitive gap between the regulator and the license applicant, we proposed a method to design an Ontology for the safety-class I&C knowledge based on IEEE standard 603. In addition, this research developed ontology-based related applications, including conformance checking and test case generation . Through the constructed ontology, both the regulator and the license applicant can reseach consensus, which is helpful in improving communication, and thus, makes the developed safety systems more suitable for practical demands.
