The purpose of this study puppetry teaching applied to the teaching of elementary school mental retardation students with behavioral problems, problem behavior change. A quasi experimental study and supplemented by interviews with qualitative description, the main research tool for problem behavior Screening Scale measured before and after for the teaching of the instructors of the study; another teaching, parents were interviewed to obtain information as a qualitative description.
According to the research and analysis, this study were conclusions as follows:
1. The puppetry implementation of teaching strategies connotation is to
make problem behavior of Mental Retardation students with to improve.
2. Puppetry teaching improvement in problem behaviors of Mental
Retardation students do not concentrate on their studies, interfere with
learning, emotional, the other four dimensions and the overall problem
behavior has improved.
In this study, based on research findings and conclusions put forward specific proposals are as follows:
1.elementary special education teacher
(1) consider the students' individual differences in learning styles of
Teaching.
(2) fusion application of other teaching strategies.
2.the school administration recommended
(1) provide human resources support teaching special classes.
(2) encouraging teachers to apply multiple teaching strategies to
promote the effectiveness of learning.
(3) teachers' discussion and creative teaching thinking.
