Summary:碩士 === 長庚大學 === 工商管理學系 === 100 === The purpose of this research is to examine the explanation between leader’s communication style and leadership style with Guanxi and turnover intention. Respondents were collected from convenience stores. 263 usable data was obtained through questionnaire. The results are as below: Communication styles are more strongly related to transformational leadership than to transactional leadership. Communication styles are more strongly related to benevolent leadership than to authoritarian leadership. Communication styles have significant explanation to turnover intention. Transformational leadership has greater explanation to Guanxi and turnover intention than transactional leadership.Benevolent leadership has greater explanation to Guanxi and turnover intention than authoritarian leadership. This study suggest that leader should avoid to debate with subordinates that would frustrate them and would not perceive about benevolent leadership. If subordinates could perceive benevolent leadership, that the Guanxi between leader and subordinates would be good. If the Guanxi between leader and subordinate is good, that subordinate would have better job performance and attitude. If leader wants to control the cost of personal matters, that leader should avoid the Argumentativeness communication style to avoid subordinate want to leave to job.
