Summary:碩士 === 長庚大學 === 電子工程學系 === 100 === This thesis investigates mainly for the use of Microstrip line to achieve 2.4GHz Balun circuit. Balun is a three-port of the component with double-ended single-ended input and output. The full name of the Balun is Balanced to Unbalanced (Balun) which can make the unbalanced signals into two balanced signals. Two output signals have the same amplitude but the phase required difference is 180 degrees. It is generally used in the front of differential circuits to conversed the single circuit. In this paper, we achieve three balun circuit as two-line Planar Marchand balun, Three-Line Planar Marchand balun, dual-mode ring resonator and Stub-Loaded balun. The frequency is design at 2.4 GHz wireless LAN. Three balun circuit have insertion loss ( S21) of about-5dB, while the return loss ( S11) in lower than -10dB using FR4 substrate with 33 mm  29 mm2 chip size.
