Employee’s dreams and wishes reflect their inner needs. An organization should understand the needs of its employees in order to inspire them. Through this study, it is expected to explore the meanings of dream and wish of employees, and to analyze their expectations in order to provide the employer for reference on policies and benefits that would help the employees to achieve balance between life and work. Based on Chen(2010)’s framework and results on employees’ dreams and desires at Company A, the scope of this research is defined into 9 categories. By utilizing the Focus Group Interview and content analysis method, it is found that the desires of employees at Company A can be divided into the following: 1. Assistance provider: helping others in daily life. 2. Happiness: subjects associated with career life affects the feeling of happiness. 3. Travel: employees desire to travel abroad on regular basis. 4. Physical appearance: employees wish to lose weight in order to maintain good apperance. 5. Mental well-being: family life is the main source of contentment. 6. Pressure-relief: most employees want to reduce stress associated with work, and traveling is the most common method. 7. Sense of stability: being able to have a stable job is the main desire of employees. 8. Freedom: employees pursue freedom in both financial and career life aspects. 9. Justice: employees desire for fairness and justice in career life
