Also use job insecurity as mediating factor and try to explore the mediating effect in this research. Respondents are from IT department employees of organizations, total 202 usable data was obtained through web questionnaire system. Perceived employability, job insecurity and knowledge sharing are used as factors in the study, also subscale knowledge sharing into company colleagues and IT outsourcing vendors. Personal information include gender, age, martial status, education attainment, years of services in currently company, year of IT services, type of individual work, type of IT outsoucing in current company, current position type also been used to sub-categorize the analysis. Results indicated that perceived employability associated positively with job insecurity. Job insecurity associated negatively with knowledge sharing to colleagues and outsourcing vendors. Perceived employability associated positively with knowledge sharing to outsourcing vendor. The mediating effect of job insecurity to perceived employability and knowledge sharing is not supported. This study suggest company/organization , outsourcing vendor and their employees shall take actions to increase the employees’ perceived employability, these actions will result to reduce their job insecurity and increase their intention of knowledge sharing.
