The study on the learning satisfaction toward the academic-industrial cooperation – taking the cosmetology department of the vocational schools as examples

As a result, people have placed more emphasis on their appearances and beauty healthcare and the Ministry of Economic Affaire officially has also included the beauty industry in the key plans of national industrial development. Due to the flourishing development in the beauty industry, it requires more and more manpower in the beauty, hair care and cosmetics industries. To improve the professional knowledge and skills of domestic beauty specialists, it is necessary to cultivate talents in the beauty related fields. The purpose of this study is to understand both parties’ actual needs and expectations toward the beauty academic-industrial cooperation as well as to discuss factors that affect the results of the beauty academic-industrial cooperation in order to find an appropriate implementation model for the academic-industrial cooperation projects. Besides, this study aims to understand current implementation of the academic-industrial cooperation in Taiwan through the corporations and schools that have been taken parts in the academic-industrial cooperation. Based on the industry and schools’ cooperative experiences, the actual needs and expectations toward the academic-industrial cooperation are proposed. Through the statistic and survey analyses, it is to understand the satisfaction on training environment of the academic-industrial cooperation classes of the cosmetology department in northern vocational schools. The research includes current investigation, the background factors that analyze the effect of individual variable on the analysis of means variance for the training environment satisfaction. According to the correlation analysis, the corporate training is primarily correlated with the school care are (r=.724) and the corporate management concept is secondly correlated with the leadership style (r=.152). With regard to the regression analysis, the corporate management concept（β=.120）, the interpersonal relationship （β=.152）, the corporate training （β=.277）and the school care can all effectively predict the satisfaction on the training environment with 40.5% explanatory power. Based on the research results, the recommendations will be provided to the government units, the educational institutions and the beauty industry.
