Interactive whiteboards allowed students with different backgrounds to access the influence of their learning motivation and satisfaction. The hypotheses were drawn from literature review. The questionnaires which were measured by using two scales were distributed to the students of a public junior high school. The sample school, which had been identified as using interactive whiteboards in every classroom, was selected for the study. In this study, 406 responses were valid for the analysis. The effective rate of returned questionnaires was 90.2 percent. A range of research methods was adopted, including descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA and regression analysis, to analyze the data. The results of the study indicate: 1.Teaching with interactive whiteboards impacted positively on the perceptions of students’ learning motivation and satisfaction. 2.Various variables of the students’ backgrounds have significant differences on the students perceptions of learning motivation and satisfaction. 3. Students’ perceptions of learning satisfaction were positively influenced by their learning motivation.
