碩士 === 長榮大學 === 高階管理碩士在職專班 === 100 === Abstract This study aims to explore the effects of retirement planning on life satisfaction from the perspective of financial investment. In addition, the effects on life satisfaction after the interaction between retirement planning and financial investment are also investigated. The research data are collected by questionnaires which are given to the objects of this study, the retirees of 50 years and above, and a total of 623 valid questionnaires are received. The results show: (1) The assumption of which retirement planning has a significantly positive influence on life satisfaction partly holds; (2) the assumption of which financial investment has a significantly positive influence on retirement planning partly holds; (3) the assumption of which financial investment has a significantly positive influence on life satisfaction partly holds); (4) the assumption of which financial investment has a significantly moderating effect on retirement planning that influences life satisfaction partly holds. Research conclusions and suggestions are as follows: (1) Retirement planning has a significantly positive impact on life satisfaction. It is suggested that one should start the retirement planning earlier by carefully evaluating the current retirement system and the context of company retirement norms in order to remain independent while facing the retirement, and have a better quality of life afterwards; (2) Financial investment has a significantly positive impact on retirement planning. Therefore, it is suggested that one should set a goal as early as possible and then take advantage of financial investment to find a proper method and a suitable financial tool for the retirement planning; (3) Financial investment has a significantly positive impact on life satisfaction. Hence, it is suggested that before the retirement, one should make a good financial investment which would greatly help the one to afford the living expenses once retired and increase the life satisfaction. Finally, it is hoped that the results of this study could provide the reference of retirement planning and financial investment for retirees.
