There are various kinds of heat insulation material in market place but only lightweight aggregate both possesses great efficiency of heat insulation and convenience for construction during the manufacturing course of lightweight aggregate clay, the material itself may contain foaming agent or be added foaming agent as additive so that the aggregate is hard-shelled and hallow inside. With the specialty mentioned above, it is lightweight, more convenience for construction, great efficiency on heat and sound insulation. That's why it's most used as aggregate for heat insulation bricks in dry interior decoration. Nowadays,in domestic market place, there are various choices in choosing heat insulation brick material on roof construction. The purpose is to prevent the heat to getting into the house, to maintain comfortable interior condition, and to prevent waste on electricity consuming. The further purpose is aimed at energy saving. The feature of heat insulation polystyrene and Styrofoam is lightweight, less absorbent, fine in heat insulating, more stability and more easier in construction. Our research is based on the documents of lightweight material and heat insulation. We Program the experiment method to comparing the heat-insulating efficiency of different thickness complex materials. Acquired from integrated analysis result, comparing 1.5cm thick with 3cm thick heat insulation bricks, the heat insulation efficiency of 3cm thick brick was up to 69%.Comparing the heat insulation efficiency of 3cm thick PS board with 3cm thick air material, the former is 91% greater than the latter after finishing the experiment, we can provide a more accurate value when designing the thickness and material of heat insulation in the future.
