Description
Summary:碩士 === 正修科技大學 === 運動健康與休閒所 === 100 === Background: Eighty percent of taekwondo(TKD)skills are related to the kicking techniques. Each action of kicks is related to the hip abductors and adductors. Kinesio taping has been used to improve muscular strength, blood circulation and range of motion. Purpose: To investigate the differences of hip abductor and adductor strength performance between dominant and non-dominant limbs’ kicks after kinesio taping. Methods:Fifteen TKD club collage students were recruited (age 20.2±0.5y; height 172.1±5.4cm; weight 68.8±10.8kg). The lower limbs strength performance of hip abductor and adductor were measured by Biodex isokinetic dynamometer(45˚/s x 5 rep; 120˚/s x 5 rep)with kinesio taping or not. Results: There was no significant difference in peak torque (PT), relative PT, total work (TW) and relative TW between limbs by kinesio taping or not. Conclusion: Kinesio taping might slightly enhance abductor and adductor strength performance in healthy individuals.
