Description
Summary:碩士 === 正修科技大學 === 電子工程研究所 === 100 === This study proposes circular-polarized (CP) microstrip antennas for handheld Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) reader. In chapter 2, a prototype that operates in the UHF RFID band is successfully developed using an orthogonally truncated radiation patch, an obliquely slotted ground plane, and a 50-Ω microstrip line that proximally fed the antenna. All elements are printed on a microwave substrate in a vertical structure. The compact antenna dimension is suitable for handheld devices. In chapter 3, a circularly polarized monopole slot antenna operated at 2.45/5.8 GHz dual-band is proposed. The antenna consists of a dual-band quadrature power divider and two orthogonal monopole slots. The power divider simultaneously feeds the monopole slots to introduce a dual-band orthogonal E-field and causes dual-band CP radiations. The simulative study and experimental study are carried out to verify the performances of the proposed CP antennas.
