Due to lack of flexible space availability, traditional low-voltage motor control centers often occupy larger space to accommodate the control equipment. In addition, the maintainence convenience and usage safety of the traditional control panel have to be greatly improved. Therefore, this thesis aims to design and implement new types of low voltage motor control center to improve its space flexibility, operation convenience, maintainence convenience, and usage safty. Additionally, the proposed control panel can assist various types of customers to obtain the optimal space planning and reduce equipment replaced costs for the power equipment.
