Besides, increasing operational efficiency, the folk religion organizations have to preach religious doctrines to people and increasing the value of religion. The G-folk religion organization applied process re-engineering, implemented the guiding system of folk beliefs and constructed the system of religions knowledge. This research take this organization as the research object of single case study and probe the relationship between “Business process re-engineering (BPR)” and “religious connotation growth”. The major findings of this study were: 1.The efficiency of folk religion organizations could be improved effectively by integrating information technology to apply BPR. 2.The key factor of successful organization revolution is implementing the information system to assist volunteers transfer their work pattern and improve human resource management. 3.The organizations could accomplish knowledge management/ transfer and increase religious connotation through building database and digital archive.
