| Summary: | 碩士 === 中原大學 === 工業工程研究所 === 100 === Due to the rising patent conflicts between enterprises, the implementation of patent right has been drawing international consensus nowadays. In the initial development of new products, it is necessary to implement a patent analysis in order to determine the existing technology and trends in the market. This would help engineers and managers in making decisions and strategies regarding the product. Moreover, this would ensure the product could be sold in the market successfully and to prevent counterfeiting and risk of infringement.
In this study, to present a case study dealing with radio frequency identification system (RFID) fitted as electronic seals in containers. For the range of patent search includes the records of granted and published U.S. patents. The search strategy consists of methods with keywords and international patent classifications. The results of the patent analysis include the industry technology trends, key competitors, key patents, global application status, major markets, and other valuable information. In addition, it shows industry technical features, technology-effect analysis and claims analysis used for technology and strategic patenting information.
