Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 教育研究所 === 100 === The purpose of this study was to understand the current state of junior high school administrative teachers’ job stress, coping strategy and job satisfaction in Taoyuan county, and to explore the relationships among those variables. This study adopted questionnaire survey method. The subjects were sampled from 35 public junior high school, and 311 administrative teachers participated in this study. The statistical analyses included descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, Structural Equation Models and multiple regression analysis. The results were listed as follows: 1. The administrative teachers’ job stress was below middle level. "work load" was perceived as the highest, and "professional competence" was perceived the lowest. 2. The administrative teachers’ coping strategy was at above middle level. "seek support" was perceived the highest, and "delayed treatment" was perceived the lowest. 3. The administrative teachers’ job satisfaction was at above middle level. "relationship between colleagues " was perceived the highest, and "wages and benefits", " work itself " was perceived the lowest. 4. The significant differences of job stress were found among teachers with varying background variables such as “ age”, “marriage status”, “seniority” ,and ”holding administrative job”. 5. There was negative correlation between job stress and positive coping strategy, and positive correlation between job stress and negative coping strategy . 6. There was positive correlation between job satisfaction and positive coping strategy, and negative correlation between job satisfaction and negative coping strategy . 7. There was a significant negative correlation between job stress and job satisfaction. 8. Job satisfaction can be predicted by job stress and coping strategy.
