In order to maintain the economic growth, The mass use of fossil energy making more and more greenhouse gas emissions, thus leading to serious global warming phenomenon. Doing energy-saving is a great way to slow down the rate of global warming. So, it is very important to have the right cognition and attitude about using energy.
In this study mainly targeted abbriginal in Sinyi Township, Nantou County the way through the questionnaire survey to explore on villagers background variables, and the relations of attitudes toward energy awareness and energy cognition. The data were SPSS12.0 statistical software for descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson product moment correlation analysis.
The results showed that. The major factors affecting energy cognitive are age, degree, occupation and whether receive global warming relevant information and perspectives. The main factors affecting energy attitude are age, degree and whether receive global warming relevant information and perspectives. It showed the "energy awareness" and "energy attitude" have a positive correlation, indicating that more awareness of energy bring more energy attitude.
