Description
Summary:碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 營建工程系碩士班 === 100 === The study was conducted to investigate the effects of material defect and/or deterioration on the change of mechanical properties for the selected construction material of the specimens used for the dynamic plunking test .The major parameters studied include natural frequency fn and stiffness k of the structural components from which the results of the dynamic plunking test and the eventual Young’s modulus E were examined to evaluate the integrity of the materials. The results of test showed that mechanical properties E decreases due to defect of the specimens:(1)for the cracks defects of deterioration ,E value decreased to as low as 37.9%,27.7% and 31.2% ; while (2)for the void defect of deterioration ,the value of E decreased to as low as 17.2%,27.7% and 12.5%,for the high strength ,standard ,and recycled concrete, respectively. In general, the test results clearly indicated that the dynamic plunking tests used in the study can be of a feasible and useful tool as non-destructive technique in construction material quality verification. However, further studies are required before any future application in practice can be anticipated.
