The scraffords without bracing and with four kinds of bracing are inculded in the test program. In addition, the material test and member test were conducted in this study, in order to obtain the material proporties and connection parameters in the utilization of analysis software for the cpmparison purpose. The discussion was made for the ultimate load, critical buckling load, critical buckling strain, and failure mode for all specimens based on the test results. It was observed that the specimens with the No. 4 type of bracing and the No. 3 type of bracing have the highest and second highest value of ultimate load, respectively, and these two types scaffolds have similar values of ultimate loads. In the analysis, it was found that the scaffold with the No. 4 type of bracing has highest ultimate strength as the notional horizontal force applied on the top of scaffold, as well as the No. 3 type of bracing has highest ultimate strength as the notional horizontal force applied on the middle of scaffold. Based on the test and analysis results, using either the No. 4 type of bracing or the No. 3 type of bracing to assemble the scaffold are suggested for the practice purpose.
