Description
Summary:碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 幼兒保育系碩士班 === 100 === The present study is to understand kindergarten teachers’ attitudes toward life and their work values and investigate the relation between attitudes toward life and work values. The participants of the study are 301 Kindergarten teachers from public and private kindergartens and day care centers in Taichung City. The research tools are the modification of Man-Ying Xie’s (2003) “life attitude scale”, modified by Meng-Chen Li (2001) and the “questionnaire of kindergarten teachers’ work values”, which is edited by Ruey-Tsuen Chang (2011). Six kindergarten teachers were sampled for semi-structured interviews. It is hoped to obtain convergent results and findings from different research methods. The results of the study are as follows: 1.The attitude towards life of Kindergarten teachers is positive orientation, especially strong to the aspect of love and care. 2.Kindergarten teachers agree with their work values and agree with the work value, “helping others helps oneself”, to the highest degree. 3.There is a significant positive correlation between kindergarten teachers’attitudes toward life and their work values. However, their “attitudes toward death” are not significantly positively correlated with “social judgement” and “economic stability”.
