碩士 === 大葉大學 === 工學院碩士在職專班 === 100 === The study focuses on the subject: “The influences on the school children’s environmental categorization capabilities when implementing a composting experience program on the 5th graders”. Via the questionnaire as the research media, the study employs the cross-comparison method between an experimental team and a contrast team, and then proceeds with quasi-experimental pattern to obtain results before and after teaching. There are five sections in the questionnaire; respectively they are “Environmental awareness”, “Environmental knowledge”, “Environmental attitudes”, “Environmental action skills” and “Environmental action experiences”. Each section covers related aspects; answers to the questions are weighted by the Likert 5-point scale, the collected data is analyzed by SPSS statistics software, inspected with its independent sample “t”, and also analyzed their common variables. The result of the study indicates that via the teaching courses of composting experience program, there is ample difference on the experimental team children regarding their environmental awareness, environmental knowledge, environmental attitudes, environmental action skills and environmental action experiences. All five sectors appear high positive result, which is strongly recommended to be the key education subjects in the future.
