Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 交通工程與管理所 === 100 === Pavement Friction is the most important factor to influence the driving safety, and the surface texture is the also key factor to affect friction. ASTM E2157 and ISO 13473 are the most popular adopted specification to measure the texture of surface at worldwide. The objective of this study is evaluated above two standards whether is suitable to dynamic measurement or not. Another focus of this study is exploring the relationship between texture and friction. High Definition Pavement Texture Machine (HDPTM), Intelligent Texture Measurement System (ITMS) were used to texture measurement and British Pendulum Tester (BPT) was adopted to measure the friction in field and lab. In addition, the cross validation between ITMS and HDPTM would be carried at the same time. The genetic programming was applied to correct error due to the variation of vehicle. The parameters following ISO 13473 include 1D_MPDISO, 2DL_MPDISO and 2DT_MPDISO. 2D_SAPD was following ASTM E1845. Observation from results laboratory test, the 2D texture parameters own the better ability to predict the pavement friction than 1 D texture, and the variation of 2DT_MPDISO and 2D_SAPD is smallest. From those results field test, all parameters of 2D texture parameters own high correlative with friction, and the variation of 2D_SAPD is smallest. Compare with 1D texture, the 2D texture following the spirit of ISO 13473 is feasible and more accuracy. When the vehicle speed is higher than 10 km/hr, the volume of data is not in accordance with the requirement of ISO 13473 in dynamic measurement. Although 2D_SAPD of ITMS is not satisfying ISO 13473 at high speed, the 2D_SAPD still own excellent ability to forecast the friction, and the issue is worthy of further studying.
