The significant growth the activity of exporting and importing between country is very affecting the world output. The role of middlemen in international trade business have an important role which gives advantages to end users as well as manufacturers. When distributing goods middlemen have some important roles such as; looking for buyers and sellers, matching goods which suitable to the market’s needs, offering goods in the form of many kinds or packages, persuading and influencing the prospective customer to favor a certain product and its maker, implementing pricing policies in such ways that would be more acceptable to customer and ensure effective distribution, offering pre and after sale services to end users. In this thesis I would like to analyze the importance of middlemen roles in particular factors such as; product knowledge, target market, pricing, logistics, and promotion. The data will be collected through questionnaires to Indonesian and Taiwanese export company. From the 300 usable samples obtained, hypotheses are tested using SPSS software. The data used in this study are demographic, descriptive statistics, reliability test, and linear regression. The results indicate that the role of middlemen in international business have an important role particular factors. The results also show that most of Indonesian and Taiwanese export company are agreed that the existence of middlemen in international business has an important role in connecting buyers and sellers. weng-kun liu 劉翁昆‭ 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 71 en_US
