Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 通訊工程所 === 100 === In recent years, a growing variety of electronic products are widely implemented in car and integrated for telematics system. Therefore, international vehicle EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) standard organization and major automobile industry are all starting to focus on a variety of vehicular wireless communication products that may cause the potential interference or damage. Since the automobile on-board communications might cause interference on vehicular ECU, I hence followed ISO 11452-9 (International Organization for Standardization) requirement to design a helical antenna (Normal mode of radiation) in VHF band for related study. The helical antenna has omni-directional radiation pattern, compact size characteristic to be used as the field excitation device. I then set up the experimental configuration to meet the requirement for device under test (DUT) exposed field level requirements in each direction in the design phase of a product or module. In addition to the test mentioned above, I also investigated the other electromagnetic susceptibility measurement which follows ISO 11452-4. The DUT is a media player for case study and is configured with current coupled through signal wire harness to the DUT circuit. The testing result shows shut down and mute failure happening in some frequency bands. I therefore proposed several solutions for electromagnetic compatibility failure problem with effectively choosing appropriate suppression components for the automotive electronic components test analysis and study.
