Description
Summary:碩士 === 佛光大學 === 未來學系 === 100 === Abstract An action research was designed to describe the effects of the performing arts dance programs on aesthetic education for junior high school students. The researchers aspire to explore through “Dance Appreciation” and “Creative Dance” how dance lessons affect aesthetic education in light of four dimensions: appreciation, discernment, sensibility, and creativity. This present study was action research with the subjects of 31 seven-graders in Luodong Junior High School in Yilan County. It was conducted for eight weeks, forty-five minutes of teaching and learning activities once a week. Designing teaching activities should be based not only upon skills and creativity but also upon art history, art criticism, aesthetics and dance courses designed by the researcher herself. The action elements of Laban Movement Analysis were utilized to design creative dance courses. The data was collected and analyzed by using teaching logs, observation reports, activity sheets, feedback Shan, teaching videos, and interviews. Furthermore, the study used pre- and post-questionnaires of aesthetic education as cross validation with quantitative measurements. The major findings of this study were summarized as follows: 1. “Dance Appreciation” of Performing Arts Dance courses had positive impacts on junior high school students in developing the power of “appreciation of arts” and “discernment in arts”. 2. “Creative Dance” of Performing Arts Dance courses had positive impacts on junior high school students in developing the power of ”sensibility of arts” and “creativity of arts”. 3. In this action research, the dance courses designed by the researcher herself properly affected the instruction of the students in aesthetic education. 4. The teaching of the dance action research helped the students learn more about dancing and develop learning interests and artistic accomplishments. 5. The reflections and the discoveries provided aid for the researcher in the future teaching with more intent and more achievements.
