Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 兒童與家庭學系碩士班 === 100 === The purpose of this study was to explore the junior high school students’ and their parents’ differences in the filial role perception, conduct and assessment. In this study, 434 pairs of the New Taipei Junior High School second grade students and their parents are investigated with the questionnaire, “Filial Role Perception and Conduct Scale”. The data was analyzed by the average variance analysis, t test and repeated measures ANOVA. After analyzing the data, it gave the following results: 1. The filial role perception, conduct and assessment of the parents and children was generally good 2. There were differences on “children’s filial role perception and conduct” and “parents’ filial role perception and assessment” in the terms of the background variables. 3. There were significant differences on “children’s filial role perception and conduct” and “parents’ filial role perception and assessment”. 4. There were significant differences on the children’s and their parents’ filial role perception. Moreover, there were more significant differences on the parents’. 5. There were significant differences on the parents’ and children’s filial role conduct and assessment in the terms of "active communication", "associates for confidence," and " gaining new knowledge ". Besides, there were more significant differences on the parents’. Based on above findings, some suggestions were offered as references for the family education institutions, the schools and further studies. Key word: Adolescent, filial role, Parent-child divergence
