Summary: | 碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 電機工程學系 === 100 === This thesis presents the performance analysis of space-time (ST) decision feedback (DF) interference rejection (IR) and multiuser detection (MUD) to eliminate multiple access interference (MAI) and intersymbol interference (ISI) over a fading channel in an asynchronous code division multiple access (CDMA) system. It is found that with the increase of users, using single receive antenna single-sided DF-IR is unable to eliminate the increasing MAI effectively and even has worse performance than linear detection (LD). The use of DF-MUD and double-sided DF-IR can resolve this problem and results in a significant performance improvement. The DF-MUD scheme can mitigate all MAI through feedback from each user, even in the case of a single antenna, and therefore leading to a better performance in error rate than LD and double-sided DF-IR. In combination with ST technology, DF-MUD demonstrates excellent ability in interference cancellation under a channel with fading and interference.
