Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 應用美術學系碩士班 === 100 === Commercialized comic stimulated the development of youth “Dojishi” subculture under the context of prosperous Japanese commercialized comic industry. The prominent growth of Dojishi culture, which is originated from Japan, also made a notice in Taiwan because of the wide spread media reporting. Because of the Dojishi fairs held in Taiwan, the creation of comic subculture develops with a new stream of cultural creativity. This essay tries to investigate the development of Taiwanese Dojishi culture, and also tries to reveal the influence of Dojishi culture on Dojishi creators and to what extend Dojishi culture would support comic-production industry. This essay tries to set an argument that Dojishi fair is a platform for its participants demonstrating their work and it is also a platform from them to publish their work rapidly. While practicing the comic-production skills and process, the small amount production would reflect the phenomenon of participants’ personalized design and customized product production. Participants can not only learn comic production skills in Dojishi fairs, they could also receive different learning experience such as marketing skills and communication practice through publishing Dojishi in Dojishi fairs. These newly learned skills are different from their learning experience in schools. This spontaneous learning skill could provide a vision for art/ design education: The development of Dojishi market could provide students a space for creation, publishing, and trans-fields learning.
