Intense competition in industry supply chain, supplier orders under the pressure of price competition policy, the desktop PC OEM market already into the Red Sea. Living in such adverse circumstances to seek the survival of the domestic electronics ODM / OEM corporates who not only face the challenges of external business conditions continued to deteriorate on the one hand have to face to solve the problem of the organization huge waste of resources. How to solve the problems as above to design products which can reach「development time is short., high-quality, low-cost, rise the profit margin」targets, to improve the competitiveness of enterprises, already is the subject of domestic electronic ODM/OEM industry who are currently the most urgent need to address. This study hopes by the researcher himself long term services in the electronic OEM/ODM industry relations, his own experience and in-depth site observation of the industrial situation from observation experience combined with the modular theory and practice of the use of actual case, to study the modular design implement to the design of desktop computer circuit diagram, and「the costs, quality, the development schedule, core competencies 」as a measure of base benefit assessment. To verify the modular enhance the competiveness of the electronic information products foundries, and meet customer needs and increase corporate profits.
