碩士 === 華梵大學 === 美術學系碩士班 === 100 === This creation study titled as “Beauty of the Earth” discusses the historical development and evolution of American patchwork art from an aesthetic point of view by referring to representative patchwork artists, and presents the overall focus of the creation by fabric painting and patchwork techniques. The natural beauty is the abundant resource from our earth. The author presented the oriental tracing atmosphere as the basic tone by hand-dyed and rendered fabrics, decorated with smooth patchwork patterns and natural flora media. From the traditional cultural techniques to the works of fabric painting and patchwork, this study is expected to present the concepts of "live in art" and "art in life" by the development of technique creation, to bring ecological and aesthetic art into our lives, to send the ideas of the author, and to perfect the creations.
