| Summary: | 碩士 === 玄奘大學 === 宗教學系碩士在職專班 === 100 === The theme of this thesis focused on Inner Chapters of Ge Hong’s BaoPuzi, probing the thread of thought of the divine immortal theo-ry for the rationale to establish Taoism, and further discussing Ge Hong’s main practices for achieving immortals－necessary Chinese medicine, implements, measures to refine Gold and Cinnabar, the s-pices of immortal medicine, the effect of taking the medicine, and all kinds of auxiliary life-nurturing methods to keep the corporeal
body in order to create the immortal body, such as guiding art of Chi-touring, refraining from grains and taking Chi, sexual culture,
and deposit-thinking and defensive one. Ge Hong imbibed, retained and reorganized the Tao theories of Wei and Jin Dynasty; therefore, gradually developed the very unique divine immortal theory and li-fe-nurturing thoughts of his own. Ge Hong’s collection and reorgan-ization of the Tao alchemy definitely had great influence on establi-shing Taoism thoughts afterward. Ge Hong who played an importa-nt role inherited the Tao thoughts form Xian-Qin Dynasty and both Western and Eastern Han, and further prompted Taoism prosperous in Southern and Northern Dynasties lasting to Tang Dynasty.
