Using questionnaires to estimate 315 the fifth and sixth grade students in Taoyuan City, we found 242 valid samples to analyze... The statistical methods included Descriptive Statistics, T-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient and Linear Regression. The results show as follows: 1. Most students have internet experience for 2 to 3 years; usually, they take 2 to 3 hours on internet for each time and surf in the internet more than three times a week. 2. The personality traits of most students tend to be neurotic, extroverted, open, friendly, and rigorous. 3. Most of the students have positive peer relationships. 4. There exist significant differences among years of internet usage in peer relationships. 5. The personality traits of the neurotic and the openness have significant correlations with peer relationships. 6. The neurotic has linear relationship with peer relationships when personal backgrounds take into account… According to the findings, some suggestions are provided for the policies of government and educational institutions; moreover, for the future research.
