碩士 === 玄奘大學 === 成人教育與人力發展學系碩士班 === 100 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between lifelong learning literacy and teaching quality of elementary school teachers in Hsinchu County. Questionnaire survey was conducted in this study. The participants of this study were 625 public elementary school teachers. The ‘Lifelong learning literacy and Teaching Quality in Elementary School Teachers Scale’ was the main instrument of this research. There were 532 valid questionnaires retrieved, and the return rate was 85.1%. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows: 1.The elementary school teachers’ lifelong learning literacy in Hsinchu County was high. 2.The elementary school teachers’ teaching quality in Hsinchu County was high. 3.There was a significant difference in lifelong learning literacy for elementary school teachers regarding school size. 4.There were significant differences in teaching quality for elementary school teachers regarding teaching years and school size. 5.There was a moderate positive correlation between teachers’ lifelong learning literacy and teaching quality. 6.Teachers’ lifelong learning literacy can predict teachers’ teaching quality, and skills of lifelong learning yielded as the best predictor. According to the results of this study, the researcher provides suggestions for the educational authorities, the elementary schools, elementary school teachers and future researches.
