Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 工業管理學系碩士在職專班 === 100 === The national military in Taiwan has completed a number of reformation programs such as “Solidification Plan” to carry out the organizational re-structure and downsizing, therefore, the Navy Logistics is also required to simplify and downsize the personnel. Owing to these reformations, many senior employees who have approached or completed 20-year services are considering early retirements, and it will inevitably cause a major trend of turnover; as a result, the work skills and experience will not be reserved adequately and pass to the new follow-up generations, and the routine workload and stress on the personnel of Navy Logistics will also dramatically be increasing. This research took employees at the Maintenance Department of Navy Logistics as samples to explore the relationship between work stress and job performance. A research survey was conducted by the cluster sampling method, and a total of 454 valid questionnaires were collected. The SPSS software package was performed to arrange data, such statistical methods as descriptive statistical analysis, factorial analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and regression analysis were used to test the research hypotheses. The research results showed that: 1.) employees at the Maintenance Department of Navy Logistics present a higher level of psychological stress among three types of work stress (physical, psychological, and emotional), besides, they also perceived a high level of task performance between two types of job performance (task and contextual), 2.) personal characteristics make significant differentiation on work stress; 3.) personal characteristics also make significant differentiation on job performance, 4.) physical stress and emotional stress are negatively related to task performance, and 5.) psychological stress is negatively related to contextual performance.
