However, the culture related to coal industry is a valuable heritage that needs to be passed down to our children. In recent years, the Government has implemented several policies trying to promote cultural and creative industries, not only for the culture preservation with local characteristics but also for the prosperity by building or increasing local charm industries. This study aims to develop strategies and provide recommendations of how to improve current culture creative industries, analyzing affecting factors from a case study of Taiwan Coal Mine Museum. Research methods in this study include Interviews, Questionnaire Survey and Archival Research, with the help of decision-making tools, such as a compound multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) model, using DEMATEL (Decision making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory), INRM (Influential Network Relation Map), and DANP (DEMATEL-based Analytic Network Process), combining evaluation methods such as SAW, VIKOR, grey relation analysis and so on. The results can be obtained from empirical analysis to develop improvement strategies and recommendations for acheiving aspiration level.
