Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 機械與精密工程研究所 === 100 === The objective of this thesis is to investigate the passive fire system which can effectively prevent the source of fire and smoke. The fire door lock is the key component of the fire door function. The purpose of this study has threefold: to study various tests for fireproof certification, to analyze the mechanical features and fireproof characteristics of fire door lock, and to design the mechanism of fire door lock which has the most optimal fireproof capacity. In mechanism design process, the force to initiate the inside of fire door should be within a restrained range regardless of whether there is resistance on the outside of the door to ensure that users can easily open the fire door. The critical failure concept is used in the fire door lock design. When the primary fireproof device deteriorates due to exposure to a fire, a secondary device will be triggered to protect the fire door lock from being burned down. The results shown that according to the regulation of Underwriter Laboratories Inc. the designed fire door lock can achieve the first mechanical requirements, and has fireproof capacity up to three hours.
