The process parameters such as extrusion ratio, half -die angle, extrusion speed and concentration of glyeerin and ethanol are controlled to obtain the maximum hardness and minimum porosity. The orthogonal array of L9 is designed to obtain the optimal parameters by S/N evaluation, analysis of variance (ANOVA) and contribution factor. The results show the optimal parameters A1B3C2D2 (extrusion ratio of 2.3:1, half-die angle of 30°, extrusion speed of 2mm/min and 5% glyeerin with 9% ethanol) for inner layers of cBN-TiC and A1B3C2D2 (extrusion ratio of 4:1, half-die angle of 30°, extrusion speed of 2mm/min and 6% glyeerin with 10% ethanol) for outer layer of WC-Co . The hardness for WC-Co and cBN-TiC is 1849Hv and 3825Hv, respectively while porosity for WC-Co and cBN-TiC in nearly the same with 10.4%.
