As the era of globalization and global village's coming , it's resulted in in the intensification of international competition. In order to enhance national competitiveness, these advanced countries of the world begin to proceed from the education reform, whether it is the content of education, the methods of education, or the education system are heated discussion in which the concept of school choice has also been brought into the domestic and caused the great concern by the scholars and parents. The current compulsory education is still taken to district system. However, when the district schools of the division of the educational administration can not satisfy the demands of the students or their parents for education, many parents will choose to allow students attending the cross-district school, then the cross-district enrollment in the country has been a long and common phenomenon.
The purpose of study was to examine the consideration factors and satisfacation situation for parental school choices of cross-district enrollment in Yong-Fang elementary school. The research is used of questionnaires to do the survey for the cross-district enrollment situation parents. There were 288 questionnaires sent to parents and 247 returned ones are valid. The effective response rate of the questionnaires was 85.8% . The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The conclusions of this study could be as follows:
1. The parents of cross-district enrollment in Yong-Fang elementary school take safety as the most important concern for choosing school, and then the second one is philosophy and resources of school.
2. The parents of cross-district enrollment situation in Yong-Fang elementary were satisfied with philosophy, resources, etc. Among all, convenience, achievement and safety were closed to satisfaction.
3. It's variant that the concern about choosing school for cross-district enrollment parents of different background.
4. The degree of satisfaction with the school is variant for cross-district enrollment parents of the different background.
